Alex is Arbtech’s assistant business manager. She is in some way involved in almost every project that comes through the door and though you may never deal directly or speak with her (unless you’re late paying!), she is responsible for the ninja-like efficiency of our many of our internal business processes.
In previous roles, Alex has been PA and project administrator to the global logistics director at Northrop Grumman, a facilities management group. Combining that experience with her meticulousness, she brings a lot to the table.
If you do have the pleasure of speaking to Alex at some point when you engage us to support your project, you’ll find her to be friendly and outgoing. She’ll give you a warm welcome and either direct you to the right technical expert (she’s not an ecologist or arboriculturist, after all) or arrange to call you back having solved your problem herself.
Alex has been with us 9 years.
Robert Oates, managing director says:
I really like Alex. She’s is a great person to have in the office. Apart from anything else, it’s fun to see her and Alan wrestle over which radio station we will put up with/enjoy on any given day. Alex did ring some alarm bells in our first interview, when she said ‘I love spreadsheets’, but luckily for Arbtech, we let that slide, and the rest is history. She did an amazing job as credit controller and as my PA, so it was exciting to she what she could do when promoted to 3rd in command, supporting Julia (business manager) and Chris (principal).
Meet the other members of our leading ecology and arboriculture team.
