What made you choose Arbtech?
I’ve been working with Arbtech since its early days almost 20 years ago. I was originally involved as a developer before working directly for the business from 2021.
During my development career, they have been my go-to company for anything ecology or arboriculture related due to the professional and rapid service they offer.
I am therefore extremely comfortable recommending Arbtech to any potential customer.
What do you love most about the company?
Being left to get on with my work without interference but in the knowledge that there is always support available when needed.
What do you do when you are not in Arbtech?
I love the outdoors.
Whether it’s walking our dog, gardening or travelling, I’m happiest when I’m active.
I enjoy sport and generally keeping fit, and I regularly visit the gym, play tennis/padel, ski and enjoy watching live sport.
What is the biggest tip to achieve the most in life?
Do what makes you happy.
What is the best social you’ve been on at Arbtech?
The Christmas parties are always amazing.
It’s one of the only chances we get to all meet up, as we’re based all over the country.
Where do you want to travel to next?
My favourite holiday is always skiing.
I do, however, love to explore new places, whether it’s a city break or a new destination that I’ve not been to before.
For me, it’s hard to beat the Greek islands, with their clear waters, amazing food and constant sunshine.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
If I’m totally honest, I don’t expect much change from what I currently do.
I hope to still work at Arbtech and do my bit to ensure we continue to lead the sector.
Personally, my children will (probably) have left home by then, so I’m looking forward to spending time travelling to new destinations with my wife and dog.
What is a goal you have for the future, in or out of work?
To make the most of my time, whether it’s at work or home.
At Arbtech, I want to continue to grow the great relationships we have with customers and keep helping them to achieve planning permission fast.
