Hi, we had a bat survey carried out by Amy. Amy was professional at all times and very informative.

Initial confusion caused the job to be cancelled and subsequently resubmitted with a revised completion date, which was was too late for our deadline. Jon Hartley responded to this by rearranging his busy schedule in order to find time for the report to complete it by our tight deadline. He did this efficiently and thoroughly in order to meet our requirements, which was very much appreciated.

We were initially very worried about getting a bat survey. Initially, I had a chat with Rob who runs the company. He treated me as intelligent and more importantly reassured me that ecologists in general and certainly those within Arbtech are professional people and are not going to suggest survey after survey is needed when it isn’t. Anyway, suffice to say, we are very happy with the thorough, professional and honest way in which Natalie conducted the survey. I am completely confident that presented with a site, she would document it according to best practice methodology and would not be influenced by any other consideration.

Jon Hartley has been efficient and accommodating. He has tried his best to work with our date and time scales. He has also worked will between us and the local authority and has developed a good rapour with everyone that he has dealt with. his responses have been as quick as possible in relation to his work schedule. At short notice, I required a bat survey for the Welsh government Glastir Advanced scheme for farming, to determine the presence of any bats in a barn roof on my farm in Snowdonia. The site is extremely protected for this animal, but Amy was excellent at communicating and listening clearly to my requirements and promptly arranged a site visit to this remote area. The thorough survey was efficient, the report sent promptly, and it presented all the relevant findings clearly. Amy was very nice, while effective and professional: highly recommended. THANKS.

This was our second bat survey using Arbtech. Craig and his team were very professional. They were friendly, polite, enthusiastic, efficient, organised and knowledgable. They were happy to share their specialist knowledge with us and, because we are interested in wildlife and bats Craig encouraged us to use one of his bat detectors. Craig asked all about our building plans and was happy to listen and to answer our questions and to give us his expert advice when asked. During the survey, Craig explained and demonstrated how we could identify the different species of bats as we watched them flying around our garden. Craig managed his team well and produced and emailed the report to us within a few days. Excellent and highly recommended.

needed amendment and adjusting to meet councils requirements the application approval hung in the balance Jon looked after us as well as could be asked and the application is approved we will be using your services again.

Natalie has carried out a preliminary ecological appraisal of our site with outmost competence and professionalism. She has been very proactive in explaining the significance of her findings and in helping us to plan out the optimal path for the protection of the specie found in the area (bats).

As the next steps will entail some more surveys, we look forward to continue to work with her and her colleagues.

Amy Campion was the lead surveyor at the 3 Emergence Bat Surveys carried out for us at our property in Crank, St Helens.
Prior to the surveys we spent a considerable amount of time on the internet learning about Bats as we knew very little about them but after 10 minutes with Amy at the 1st survey we learnt more from her than we had from all the time we had spent on the Internet.
Not only did Amy thoroughly answer our questions in a very friendly way she made the surveys a most interesting experience for us. We only spent a short time at each survey as we did not want to distract Amy and her colleagues from the work they were doing but we were extremely impressed with their professional approach to the surveys. They were all extremely friendly and clearly enjoying the work they were doing.
Based on our experience we rate Arbtech to be a first class company that we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who needed help and advice on any matter relating to Bats.

Jon was a very professional and efficient member of your team and his survey is detailed and very helpful. Due to a mis-communication error (client-side) his survey was delayed by 3 days and with confusing of site access from the clients side he wasn’t able to reach the site for his planned time to get to his original deadline. When he was finally able to get onto site he still managed to get all he needed and create the report before the deadline that was originally set. We are incredibly impressed with his efficiency and diligence.
