Morgan Bold
When the job came up for social media executive position, I jumped at the chance to work for Rob.
I love the way he runs his business and how everyone is treated as an individual rather than just a number.
The job role fit my personality and working style perfectly – it was like it was meant to be!
I also love how Arbtech is in a sector that I have never worked in before.
Arboriculture and ecology are all new to me, and so the content isn’t always going to be straight forward.
I absolutely love a challenge, so I can’t wait to get stuck in and start using my creativity to produce content that really appeals to our audience.
The culture and how forward thinking it is.
Arbtech is like no other company I have ever worked for. It’s like a family – everyone looks out for each other.
I also love how Arbtech acknowledges the benefits of a positive work-life balance, with the generous holiday allowance and flexible working patterns.
It means that you actually enjoy going to work, which is rare to say in this day and age!
The company socials are also a huge bonus.
I love how everyone works and socialises together; it really makes it feel more like you’re working with friends as opposed to colleagues.
I am looking forward to getting involved in the socials, and I think this will be great to show on social media too so other people can have an insight into how amazing Arbtech really is.
When I’m not at Arbtech, I love socialising with friends and family and trying out new places to eat (and drink) in the centre of Liverpool.
I usually upload these new finds to my TikTok account (@morgan.bold).
My favourite food has definitely got to be Italian. I visited Rome this year, and I was in heaven.
We lived off Aperol Spritz and pasta – what more could you want?
I also love to keep fit and have recently started reformer Pilates, which I absolutely love.
When I’m not in a reformer class, I am out walking somewhere with my boyfriend and friends.
We love exploring new areas and have recently been to see the B29 overexposed crash site in Glossop, which was so interesting. Have a look on my TikTok if you’re interested in visiting, but be warned that there is no path, so it’s definitely not for everyone!
My biggest tip to achieve the most from your life is to start believing in yourself a little bit more. It’s easier said than done – and I definitely need to take my own advice when I say this – but it’s so important to dream big and chase your goals. We only get one shot at this, so why settle for mediocre?
I also believe that positive thinking has been the most beneficial tool for me in terms of self-belief and achieving my goals. It’s true when they say that if you can dream it, you can do it. With a positive mind, you are already halfway there.
I post daily quotes on my positivity page @ThePositivityPlatform because I believe that you become what you consume. So now, my social media is full of quotes instead of influencers or models who live unrealistic lifestyles that just make you feel worse about yourself. It’s important to surround yourself with positive influences.
I haven’t been to any socials at Arbtech yet due to being a newbie at the company, but I am looking forward to going to Latitude Festival with the team on the 20th of July this year.
I’ve only ever been to a restaurant or had a night out with any previous employers, so a full-on festival is something I’ve never done before, and I can’t wait!
Travelling is one of my favourite things to do.
If I could afford to, I would love to go on a year-round trip to visit every single country. I love experiencing new cultures and ticking more places off my list each year.
I would love to learn a language one day on top of this, as I always feel so ignorant going to new places and not being able to speak their language…so watch this space!
As for plans I have for this year, Tenerife is next on our list; my boyfriend is taking me for my birthday.
We were hoping to go to Bali, but we are saving for a house at the moment, so something had to give. We are hoping to book a trip to Mykonos though, but this may have to be moved to 2024. It’s been on my bucket list for a good few years, so I can’t wait to tick this one off.
In five years, I would love to be head of digital for a company and be responsible for their social accounts and digital growth online.
I would like to have learned more about SEO and SEM so I can expand my knowledge and increase my skill set in these areas.
I would also love to be in my own home by then and have travelled to – at least – another six countries.
One of my main goals for over the next few years is to really focus on my career and expand my knowledge in all aspects of digital marketing.
I am very career focused and want to use these next couple of years to get myself ahead career wise.
I feel like Arbtech is the perfect place to do this, as they really care about your personal and professional growth, which is really important to me.
I am looking forward to getting stuck in here and helping the business grow through its social media outlets.
