What do you do when you are not in Arbtech?
In my free time outside of Arbtech, I lead a diverse lifestyle.
As a devoted Bolton Wanderers season ticket holder, I enjoy the atmosphere of both home and away games. Additionally, I share memorable moments with my family, attending several Manchester City matches each year and creating cherished family traditions.
Being an avid investor in large company stocks – including Apple, Amazon and Microsoft – occupies a significant part of my time.
Furthermore, I prioritise my physical wellbeing by dedicating time to the gym, focusing on ensuring that I am both physically fit and healthy.
What is the biggest tip to achieve the most in life?
One significant tip to achieve the most in life is to set clear and meaningful goals.
By defining your objectives, you provide yourself with a roadmap and a sense of direction. Clear goals serve as a source of motivation, helping you to stay focused and organised in your pursuits.
I adapt this in everything I do, constantly setting challenging yet achievable goals to pursue.
What is the best social you’ve been on at Arbtech?
I’ve not been on any socials yet, but they look amazing, and I can’t wait to attend my first!
Where do you want to travel to next?
I would love to travel to Germany, especially for its rich history, culture and scenic landscapes.
From the picturesque Bavarian Alps to the Black Forest and the Rhine River, Germany boasts a variety of landscapes that cater to outdoor adventurers.
Germany is a hub of innovation, with cities like Berlin known for possessing a creative and dynamic atmosphere.
The country is a leader in technology, art and design, making it an attractive destination for those interested in cutting-edge developments such as myself.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
In five years’ time, I would like to have completed my studies and be CIMA-qualified.
I would also like to develop my skills and knowledge with Arbtech and provide effective continuing support to the finance function.
What is a goal you have for the future, in or out of work?
One goal of mine is to learn to speak another language fluently.
I can speak Welsh, Spanish and German to a basic standard, but I would like to develop at least one of these to be able to speak fluently.
