What made you choose Arbtech?
I chose Arbtech for a number of reasons.
It’s a whole new journey for me, and it’s something that I’m really excited to get involved in.
I love the fact that being part of the team really feels like I’m helping to make a difference.
My mother was a veterinary nurse for many years, so the notion of protecting wildlife where I can has been instilled in me from a young age. It means a lot to me that I am part of a team helping to ensure the safety of wildlife.
What do you love most about the company?
Although I am very new to the company, I have to say that the introduction to the team I received was lovely; everyone I’ve met so far has been very warm and welcoming.
I’m excited to find out what else there is to learn!
What do you do when you are not at Arbtech?
Outside of work, I love to read, knit and crochet.
I also spend a lot of time with friends and family. My sister has just had a baby girl, so I try to spend as much time as I can with her.
I do also love to draw, so that’s something that I spend a lot of my time doing as well.
What is your biggest tip to achieve the most in life?
Do things that make you happy.
I think that following things that bring you happiness is an incredibly important thing.
Life is meant to be enjoyed, not to be stressed about.
So, whenever you get a chance to do something that makes you happy, do it!
What is the best social you’ve been on at Arbtech?
As I mentioned earlier, I am very new to the company, so I haven’t been to any social events yet, but I am looking forward to my first.
Where do you want to travel to next?
I am off to Amsterdam in July for my friend’s hen do. So, at least I’ve got a trip on the cards in the near future!
Other than that, I’ve always wanted to go to Canada during the winter.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
I’d like to have as much knowledge about Arbtech as I possibly can. I also want to be well-integrated into the team.
Maybe by then, I’ll have even progressed a little.
Whatever the case, I’m excited to see where the future takes me.
What is a goal you have for the future, in or out of work?
Outside of work, I’d also like to be settled into my own home and to have finally passed my driving test – it’s booked, but it feels like it’s ages away!
I’d also love to adopt a dog soon, as I love animals.
So, a few big goals, but I am excited for the future.
