I love that Arbtech encourages independence and trust in its consultants while still providing incredible support when you need it.
It’s a place that values people for their initiative and drive, but you never feel like you’re on your own.
The fast-paced approach here keeps things exciting, and no two days are ever the same. I think that’s what really makes Arbtech stand out from other consultancies.
Definitely the people, especially within my team up north.
From day one, I felt genuinely supported. Everyone’s so friendly and always willing to help, no matter how busy things get.
There’s a real sense of collaboration and knowledge-sharing, which makes it such a great environment to learn and grow both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, I love scrapbooking and drawing – anything creative really helps me unwind.
I also enjoy going out to eat with friends and trying new restaurants.
It’s a nice balance to the outdoor side of my job and a good excuse to spend time with people I care about.
For me, it’s knowing that I’m not fully evolved yet; there’s always something I can learn or improve about myself.
Having that mindset keeps me curious and motivated, and I think it naturally carries through into my work too.
So far, I’ve been to a dinner in a lovely restaurant in Chester with the northern team, which was such a fun night and a great way to connect outside of work.
I’m also really looking forward to an upcoming training event where we’ll be pumpkin picking and enjoying autumnal treats, which sounds like the perfect mix of learning and fun!
South America is top of my list. I’d love to go backpacking there.
The landscapes are so diverse, from rainforests to mountains, and I think it would be amazing to experience the culture, wildlife and nature up close.
In five years, I’d like to have really honed my skills as a consultant and built a strong foundation of experience across different types of projects.
I’d love to keep developing within Arbtech, contributing to work that balances development with biodiversity and creates lasting, positive impacts.
One of my personal goals is to support conservation initiatives around the world, whether through volunteering or collaborative research projects.
I’d love to combine travel with meaningful environmental work and continue learning from different ecosystems and communities along the way.
