It was mainly the location, as I recently moved back to living in Leamington Spa in the Midlands.
That said, what Arbtech were looking for fit in perfectly with what I wanted, so it was meant to be.
This was a tricky one, as I have only just started working for the company.
I do, however, love the poetic use of language throughout Arbtech.
I also really like the people and the culture.
In fact, it’s such an established setup with so much to offer that I enjoyed reading their extensive culture document far more than I thought I would!
In my spare time, I am a musician and songwriter.
I love writing and playing music, and occasionally, I enjoy performing at local open mic nights.
Cultivate an attitude of gratitude.
It’s the only social I’ve been on so far, but I went to a welcome dinner in Chester with the office crew and Emily from the arboriculture team.
It was great getting to know everyone, and I’m looking forward to the next one!

I’d also love to drive the old Silk Road to China – preferably in a Volvo!
Ideally, I’d like to be earning over £55k a year and living in a small house in the countryside.
I also want to be part of a team of people who develop a tree management app for the masses that we can then sell to Google for Elon Musk money!
More than anything, I’d like to be in a band again.
