I chose Arbtech because of the flexibility they offer and the great culture they’ve built.
There’s a real sense of teamwork, with friendly and supportive people and plenty of opportunities to learn and develop my skills.
Definitely the people!
Everyone is friendly, approachable and always happy to help or offer advice.
It makes for a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and learning from others.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping and hiking in the Peak District, photography, and collecting records.
I’m a big music fan, so there’s usually something spinning on the turntable when I’m at home.
Try not to take things too seriously, make time for the things you enjoy, and always be open to learning something new.
My favourite social with Arbtech was ArbFest 2026, where I chose to go kayaking and paddleboarding while getting to meet other people in the company.
I’ve always wanted to do a big road trip in North America, stopping off in as many national parks as I can on the way. It’s something my family have done in the past, and I would love to do it myself.
Something a bit closer to home I’ve always wanted to do is explore the Cairngorms and go wild camping up in Scotland.
I would love to be able to say that I have progressed in my career and gained some valuable experience, but also that I have made great friends and memories on the way whilst doing it.
I want to make cool memories and have fun stories that I will always look back on.
Samuel joined Arbtech in September 2026.
