What made you choose Arbtech?
Ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to be involved in conservation in any way that I could.
Every time I researched anything involving ecological surveys, Arbtech was the first result that popped up for me.
As I read more about the company, I knew our standards and ways of working would align perfectly.
Being able to combine conservation and helping people made this the perfect company for me.
What do you love most about the company?
I love the emphasis on satisfaction, both in terms of the employee side and the customer side.
It’s rare to find companies that place so much value on making sure everyone is supported, and you can tell that it’s the case here.
Although I am just beginning my career here, I am confident that I’ll be successful with the support.
What do you do when you are not in Arbtech?
I am a huge bookworm, so when I am not at work, I am constantly reading.
I’m very into reading fiction of all sorts, but I am moving towards classic literature at the moment.
I am also a crocheter and knitter, so I will be making handmade gifts for everyone during the holiday season!
What is the biggest tip to achieve the most in life?
Everyone should always do their best, no matter what that looks like.
People have periods of their lives where they might not feel as accomplished, but that doesn’t matter as long as they did their best.
I think it’s important to not feel bad about your life and to try to do everything possible to be happy.
What is the best social you’ve been on at Arbtech?
I have only just started, so I haven’t had the privilege to go on a social yet, but I have heard great things and am very excited to join in on the next one!
Where do you want to travel to next?
I really, really want to go to Alaska!
I’m from Florida and have experienced most of the East Coast of the US but haven’t ventured out into Alaska yet.
I hope to do it sometime in the next couple of years and go on a cruise.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
In 5 years, I see myself progressing in my role at Arbtech.
I love settling into my workplace and staying for long periods of time.
I will also be 30, so I hope to have a solid foundation for my life (and maybe get a cat).
What is a goal you have for the future, in or out of work?
I really want to buy a house in Japan one day, as that’s where I am from.
I would love to have a house for my family to visit as often as they would like, and maybe even for my parents to eventually retire to.
Houses are cheap there, so it doesn’t actually seem too unreasonable!
